4 Days... 51 Coats

The coat drive is moving along faster than a speeding bullet. Steve and Barry's shelves are being emptied and the coats are piling up in the youth room. Some people are bringing in some nice, used coats and those are just fine too. Today, one of my volunteer youth workers has invited my out to lunch with Sonny Hill, who is the new director of the People's City Mission Distribution Center in Lincoln. The center takes in all of the donations from the city and organizes them for distribution to the needy of our community. The high school youth and I have spent a number of evenings at the center, sorting through donations and helping to keep their operations organized. It'll be exciting to hear the ministry that is taking place under Sonny's leadership and to tell him about the blessings we've received so far in regards to our coat drive. Keep those coats coming!
