The days are flying by and I’m losing track of how long we’ve been here. Yesterday (Wednesday) was a half day of work. It gives the kids and the staff a break. My family and I joined one of the missionary families to spend the afternoon at a Dutch ladies house where I hugged a monkey and swam in a pond with goats drinking out of it. Pictures will follow. The kids took naps and enjoyed some quality pool time. Tom and Gene grilled burgers for our supper and we enjoyed a great Bible study in the evening. We finished the night with some great games of psychiatrist, werewolf, and hide and seek. It’s Thursday today and we ha a great work day. We produced more peaches today than any single day of production this season. Were heading to dinner, hungry and tired. Oh yeah. Jake Klein stepped on three nails at once and they almost went right through his foot. He’s ok though and I talked with his mom and he had a tetanus shot a year ago. She told him to stay tough and power through the pain. He and I decided he should take it easy today so we found some sitting jobs he could do. No other injuries to report.
Day 5 or 6 or something like that
